Project Grants

Werkleitz annually supports up to four media and film projects by German or foreign artists with this funding scheme. The grant includes free access to the Werkleitz Media Lab’s technical equipment for a period of up to 30 (production) days. 

Funding Criteria
Funding is granted exclusively to non-commercial video and media projects. The project concept should already be complete. Proposed projects ought preferably to address issues of socio-political import from a critical perspective, or to pursue a convincing artistic-experimental concept.

Applications
To be considered for funding, please send us a strong project proposal including the most concrete possible production details (regarding time-frame, equipment required, etc.), and at least one reference project (DVD, URL). Applications for funding can be submitted at any time and will be dealt with within a period of 2 – 4 weeks.
